Bruce Philip Warner of Newark, Ohio, August 14, 1935 – November 9, 2017

According to his wishes, there will be no services held for Bruce Philip Warner, 82, of Newark, who passed away November 9, 2017, at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation.  He was born August 14, 1935, in Milwaukee, WI, to the late Dewayne and Mildred (Rockrohr) Warner.

Bruce received his a master of arts degree.  He was the Director of Student Services and University System in Wisconsin for 21 years, drove 18 wheeler for 7 years through 41 states, and later worked for Walmart for 17 years.  He enjoyed watching TV, golfing, bowling, football games especially Green Bay and Wisconsin.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred (Whatley) Warner; daughters, Karen (Drew) Ward of Newark and Kristine (Robert) Deklerk of CA; step-sons, Charles (Kathy) Scoggins and John Scoggins both od MI; brother, Lee (Sarah) Warner of AL; 2 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.

 Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ronald Patrick Walter of Newark, Ohio, August 14, 1954 – November 7, 2017

A funeral service for Ronald Patrick Walter, 63, of Newark, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Wally McLaughlin officiating.  Burial will follow in Wilson cemetery, where Military Honors will be conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Ron passed away November 7, 2017, at Licking Memorial Hospital.  He was born August 14, 1954, in Houston, TX, to Ronald David and Anna Rhea (Monaghan) Walter.

Ron was a very loving father, brother, and son.  He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and retired from DSCC.  After retirement he spent his life helping other people.  He had a great love for the Lord and was a Good Samaritan.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mary Kay (Tuttle) Walter; children, Tracy (James) Sims of Newark and Ronald Matthew Walter of Heath; grandchildren, Tahliyah Isabella Walter and Jesse McCoy Sims; step-granddaughter, Kyrsten Reneè Sims; brother, Stan (Debbie) Walter of Newark; sisters, Ronda Ruth Walter of Heath and Susan Gail (William) Nielson of NM, and several nieces and nephews.
