John T. Snyder of Newark, OH, June 30, 1937 – November 30, 2017

A memorial service for John T. Snyder will be held at 1pm on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Brucker Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, OH. Family will greet friends for 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

John, age 80, of Newark, formally of Gahanna, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017. He was born to the late Thurman and Ida (Printz) Snyder on June 30, 1937 in Columbus, OH.

John is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Judith (Mustar) Snyder. He also leaves behind his children, Matthew (Lynn) Snyder of Wyley, TX, Laura Snyder of Newark, Lisa Snyder of Newark, and Michelle (Eric) Barber of Newark; 4 grandchildren, Nathaniel J. Snyder, Lauren E. Snyder, Margaret A. Snyder, and Sarah C. Snyder; and cousin, Sally (Ken) Coburn.

John graduated from Springfield High School in Springfield, OH and was a graduate of Defiance College. He retired as President of the Hospital Association of Central Ohio. He was also a long time member of the Gahanna Rotary Club.

John was a former member of St. Matthew’s in Gahanna. In his free time, John enjoyed golf and crossword puzzles, but more than anything he loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

Evelyn May (Lane) Zipperer of Newark, Ohio, November 6, 1941 – November 30, 2017

According to her wishes, there will be no services held for Evelyn May (Lane) Zipperer, 76, of Newark.
Evelyn, a homemaker passed away November 30, 2017, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center.  She was born November 6, 1941, in Sandusky, to the late Lowell E. and Ruth (Miller) Lane.
She was a graduate of Newark High School and loved cats. 
She is survived by her husband, David Zipperer; daughter, Theresa (Orin) Noyes of Beverly, and son, Daniel Wickliff of Hanover
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Freddy Provance, Jr.

Kathleen “Kate” Anne Bricker of Newark, OH, May 29, 1951 – November 30, 2017

Kathleen Anne “Kate” Bricker, 66, of Newark, died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at her home. She was born May 29, 1951 in Cambridge, OH to the late Homer and Irene (Frasher) Tritt.

Kate worked as the Activities Director at Arlington Nursing Home and most recently at CSS. She enjoyed being around animals and operated a pet sitting business. She loved music and was an accomplished pianist and singer. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a dear friend to many.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, William Steven “Steve” Bricker; one son, Ben (Katie) Bricker of Wilmington, DE; two grandchildren, Olivia and Van Bricker; brother-in-law, Paul Bricker; and sister-in-law, Pam Bridges.

Per Kate’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
