William “Bill” R. Hutchinson of Newark, OH, August 24, 1933 – January 8, 2018

William Richmond “Mr. Bill” Hutchinson, 84, of Heath went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Chapel Grove. He was born August 24, 1933 in Pedro, OH to the late William and Erma (Fuggitt) Hutchinson.

Bill retired as Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force after 23 years of service. He honorably served in Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of Central Christian Church. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a NAFRE member.

He is survived by son, William O. Hutchinson of Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Jo (Kenny) Williams of Heath; three grandchildren, Jeannie Hutchinson of Austin, TX, Ryan Williams of Los Angeles, CA, and Kevin (Nikki) Williams of Newark; two great grandchildren, Ayden Williams and Annette Williams; brother, Glen (Jeri) Hutchinson of Burkburnett, TX; and two sisters, Anna Bierbaum of Orlando, FL and Garnet Jayne of Kitts Hill, OH.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty L. Hutchinson (1996); and two brothers, Daniel and James Hutchinson.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM with a Masonic service beginning at 7:45 PM at the Brucker- Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, and Friday from 1-2 PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Bill’s nephew, Pastor Tim Jayne officiating. Burial will follow the service in Cedar Hill Cemetery where military honors will be presented.

Terri Lynn McIntyre of Newark, Ohio, July 1, 1954 – January 4, 2018

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services held for Terri Lynn McIntyre, 63, of Newark, who passed away January 4, 2018, at her residence.  She was born July 1, 1954, in Columbus, to the late William Floyd and Beverly Joan (Whitherup) Collins.

Terri was a cook and a former member of the Moose Lodge.

She is survived by her children, Johnny Bentley, Chrissy (Willie) Bentley, Tiffany McIntyre, and Sean McIntyre; grandchildren, Courtney, Corey, Addy, Brayden, Alayna, Brittany, Lance, Konlen, Korena, and Klair; great-grandchildren, Shawn and Sarah, and two dogs and twelve cats.

Shirley I. Rohan of Newark, Ohio, January 6, 1929 – January 7, 2017

     A funeral service for Shirley I. Rohan, 89, of Newark, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Katrick officiating.  Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark. 
     Shirley passed away January 7, 2018, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center.  She was born January 6, 1929, in Newark, to the late Raymond Rian and Irene (Nice) Dusenberry.  
     Shirley was a 1946 graduate Newark High School.  She retired from the Licking County Recorder’s office.  She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ.
     Shirley is survived by her daughters, Diana (Pete) Swietanski of Tuscan, AZ and Kim (Williams) Davis of Lewis Center; grandchildren, Jack (Angie) Kincaid of Tuscan, AZ, Debbie Twing of Tuscan, AZ, Derek Davis of Westerville, and Lindsay Davis of Lewis Center, and great-grandson, Liam Kincaid of Tuscan, AZ. 
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Richard Rohan; first husband, Eugene Williams, and sister, Mary Alice Cannon.

Myrtle Beatrice Smith of Newark, OH, October 27, 1927 – January 5, 2018

Myrtle Beatrice “Myrt” Smith, 90, of Newark, died Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Center. She was born October 23, 1927 in Escambia County, FL to the late Carl and Bertha (Steel) Wilson.

Enjoyed square dancing, gardening and was known for being a great cook.

She is survived by one son, Dwight (Lynne) Smith of Newark; two daughters, Angie Lewis of Heath and Maia (Matt) Fhorbahn of Newark; ten grandchildren, Mike (Brenda) Smith, Mitchell Smith, Matt (Becky) Smith, Christy (Brian) Haught, Tricia Davis, Tracy Payne, Chad Triplett, Kacy Triplett, Amber Prince and Kayla Prince; 22 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Linda Poling; brother, James (Jean) Wilson and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight M. Smith Sr.; son, David Smith; three sisters; and two brothers.

Visitation will be Monday from 6-8PM and Tuesday from 12-1PM at the Brucker- Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark where the funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Wally McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow the service in Newark Memorial Gardens.
