Larry A. Denny of Newark, Ohio, June 21, 1937 – April 26, 2018

Mr. Denny passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Rose M. White of Zanesville, Ohio, April 26, 1951 – April 23, 2018

An inurnment will be held at a later date in Allen Cemetery in Blue Rock Twp., for Rose M. White, 66, of Zanesville, who passed away April 23, 2018, at The Oaks at Bethesda in Zanesville.  She was born April 26, 1951, in Zanesville, to the late Perlie and L. Mildred (Gibson) Roberts.

Rose was a LPN for several nursing homes in Muskingum County.  She was an active member of Cornerstone Church in Duncan Falls, and enjoyed farming.

She is survived by her son, William C. White, Jr. of Newark; sisters, Mary (Terry) Randles and Ruth Baker both of Philo; brothers, Steve (Sue) Roberts, Sr. of Philo and Sam (Judy) Roberts of Country of Belize; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. White, Sr.; son, Gary White, and six brothers.

Bessie Marie Bunting of Newark, Ohio, July 18, 1932 – April 19, 2018

Bessie Marie Bunting, 85, of Newark, died Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Center. She was born July 18, 1932 in Belmont, OH to the late Matthew and Luella (Wilson) Scott.

Bessie worked as a tax preparer in Newark for over 60 years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening.

She is survived by three sons, Robert (Sandy) Bunting of Alexandria, KY, Bruce (Donna Delius) of Pataskala, and William (Bonnie) Bunting of Newark; seven grandchildren, Emily, Erin, Josh, Matt, Jon, Steven, and Billie; 22 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Betty Roe; and brother, Raymond (Ruth) Scott.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John Bunting.

Visitation will be Monday from 11AM- 1PM at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1:00PM with Pastor Wally McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow the service in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Constance Louise “Connie” Cooperrider of Hanover, Ohio, August 22, 1950 – April 16, 2018

Constance Louise “Connie” Cooperrider, 67, of Hanover, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018. She was born August 22, 1950, in New Lexington, a daughter of the late Donald G. Van Fossen and Doris Louise (Wright) Van Fossen, who survives. She was a 1968 graduate of Licking Valley High School and enjoyed collecting bears and sewing for her family.
Surviving in addition to her mother Doris, is her husband of 44 years, William E. “Bill” Cooperrider, whom she married August 24, 1973; two children, Matthew (April) Cooperrider and Jason Cooperrider; her grandchildren, Amirah, Chloe and Sam and her sister Brenda (Kevin) Jackson.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Constance Louise “Connie” Copperrider of Hanover, Ohio, August 22, 1950 – April 16, 2018

Constance Louise “Connie” Cooperrider, 67, of Hanover, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018. She was born August 22, 1950, in New Lexington, a daughter of the late Donald G. Donald Lee Randles of Newark, July 2, 1930 – April 12, 2018

Donald Lee Randles, 87, of Newark, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at his home. He was born July 2, 1930 in Coshocton to the late Archie and Nora (Foster) Randles.

Don grew up on the farm and never lost his interest for farm machinery. He served our country and was a veteran of the U.S Army. He spent most of his working career in production at Roper and Anchor Hocking. He was a fan of OSU football and basketball, Golden State Warriors and enjoyed watching golf. He was a talented wood worker and gardener, and most of all, he loved eating his wife’s carrot cake.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie; two daughters, Candy (Ron) Baker and Tammy Randles both of Newark; one grandson, Lee Baker; brother-in-law, Ed (Nancy) Cochran of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters; one brother; and brother-in-law, Steven Cochran.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O. Box 430, Newark, OH 43058.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 4-5PM at the Brucker- Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark where a memorial service will follow visitation at 5:00PM with Pastor Tim Carr officiating.

Deborah Sue Sharrock of Hebron, October 12, 1954 – April 13, 2018

Deborah Sue Sharrock, 63, of Hebron, died Friday, April 13, 2018 at her home. She was born October 12, 1954 in Zanesville to Jerry Canter and Shirley (Sweet) Graham.

Deb retired from Kroger as a customer service coordinator after 30 years of service. She also worked for Granville Schools as a cook and as a home health aide for Prohealth Care Services where she was able to take care of her granddaughter. She enjoyed gardening and baking, especially cakes and decorating them according to the occasion.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Kevin Sharrock; two daughters, Ashley Sharrock of Granville and Kalie (Cody) Debevoise of Heath; three grandchildren, Weston, Grayson and Allison; mother and step father, Shirley and Fred Graham; brother, Paul (Yvette) Canter; sister, Jean (Chuck) Best; two sisters-in-law, Bev Crank and Lori (Kenny Shelt) Sharrock; and two brothers-in-law, Robert (Debbi) Sharrock and Mark Sharrock.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Canter.

Grace Marie Postle of Newark, Ohio, November 19, 1923 – April 12, 2018

A funeral service for Grace Marie Postle, 94, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Evangelist Cory Campbell officiating.  Burial will follow in Barnes Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Grace, a homemaker, passed away April 12, 2018, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center.  She was born November 19, 1923, in Columbus, to the late Spencer King and Grace (Perkins) Streets.

Grace was a member of Northside Church of Christ, Eden Hilltoppers Senior Citizens, Pataskala Garden Club and Crusaders Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her sons, Gordon (Mary Jo) Postle of Newark and Danny (Betty) Postle of Newark; daughter, Sue (Earl) Hayes of Newark; fourteen grandchildren; thirty four great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Postle; sons, Thomas and Billy Postle; two brothers, and three sisters.

Sally Johnson Clark of Newark, Ohio, June 21, 1922 – April 10, 2018

 Selma “Sally” M. (Johnson) Clark, 95, died on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Urbana, Ohio.

She was born on June 21, 1922 in Caledonia, Minnesota, the daughter of the late Alfred and lgeborg (Buxengard) Johnson.

    Sally was the first secretary at Heath High School under Principal, Mr. Joe Marks. She retired from Denison University after 19 plus years working for Dr. Sam Schaff, head of the Registrar’s office and graduate affairs.  Following that she worked for five years as a sales associate for Lazarus. Sally was a long time member of Central Church of Christ.

    Sally was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Leckie Marie, on October 4, 1947 (3 months old) and her husband, Wilbur (Bill) Earl Clark on June 4, 1972.  Sally was the youngest and last living sibling of ten: brothers Harry Johnson, Gilbert Johnson, Tillman Johnson, Burton Johnson, and Orlando Johnson; sisters Sylvia Erickson, Alice Hagan, lveda Sauer, and infant Nora Johnson, all preceded her in death.

    Sally is survived by two daughters, Ms. Cheralyn Hay of Newark and Mrs. Sandy (Bob) Earick of Urbana; four grandchildren, Carrie (Matt) Rosato of Washington, DC, Brian (Julie) Earick of Newark, Clark (Kelly) Earick of Florence, Ky. and Weston (Kris) Earick of Fairborn. She has four great grandchildren, Blake and Molly Earick of Newark, and Madison and Taylor Earick of Florence, Ky.

    Family and friends may call from 4pm-7pm, on Friday, April 13, 2018, at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street in Newark.  The funeral will be on Saturday, viewing at 1:30 prior to the service at 2pm.  The service will be held in the Fireside Room at the Heath Church of Christ, 1331 Chapel Way in Heath. Interment will follow at Rocky Fork Cemetery, near Fallsburg.
