A graveside service for Jacqueline J. “Jackie” Hunter, 92, of Rockledge, Florida (Formerly Newark) will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Wilson Cemetery with Pastor Wilsonnia McLean officiating.
Mrs. Hunter passed away on September 2, 2018, at Rockledge, Florida Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 1, 1926 to the late Bert L. Welsh and Marie (Cunningham) in Newark, Ohio
She is survived by sons, Larry (Barb) Hunter of Melbourne, FL and Randy (Kim) Hunter of Merritt Island, FL; grandchildren, Christie (Paul), Matt, and Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Blake; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph “Jack” Hunter; her sister, Betty Osborn and great-grandson, Ryan Dentinger.
Mrs. Hunter retired from the Licking County Soil & Water Conservation Service. She was a lifetime member of The Masonic Order of The Eastern Star. She was also a devoted member of the Christ United Methodist Church and Women’s Auxiliary.
A Celebration of Life and Wake will be held following the graveside services at The Christ United Methodist Church, 10 North Cedar Street, Newark, OH.
