Sally G. Dondrea-Garven of Newark, OH, June 6, 1961 – November 30, 2018

Sally G. Garven, age 57, of Newark, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 30, 2018. She was born June 6, 1961 to the late Raymond and Bonetta (Dugan) Compton in Newark, OH.

A funeral service will be held at 6pm on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Brucker Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, OH 43055. Family will greet friends from 2-6pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Sally will be laid to rest at Wilson Cemetery.

Sally graduated from Licking Valley High School in 1980. She worked for Americorps, where she taught the youth about money management. Sally also worked at Speedway as a cashier. She started and ran the Summer Co-Ed Cincinnati Style Pool League for over 20 years.

Sally is survived by her sons, Jeremy Dondrea and Jason Dondrea; grandchild, Jayda Dondrea; and siblings, Elsie Bevard, James (Sally Ann) Compton, and Eloise Ball.

In addition to her parents, Sally is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Compton, Jr and sister, Bonnie Compton.
