Marion E. Hall of Newark, Ohio, February 9, 1930 – March 4, 2019

A funeral service for Marion Hall, 89, of Newark, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Bryan Grove officiating.  Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Marion passed away March 4, 2019, at her residence.  She was born February 9, 1930, in Newark, to the late Charles and Thelma (Daugherty) Stockdale.

Marion spent most of her life as a homemaker and felt blessed that the Lord gifted her with four children.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Hall, whom she married 23 years ago in 1995; one son, David (Phyllis) Benner of Newark; two daughters, Judy Young and Peg Benner both of Newark; four granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Price; many nieces and nephews, and the Aber family. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Calvin Benner; son, Gary Benner, and granddaughter, Valerie.

The family wishes to thank Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Marion.  They were truly a blessing.

Dale Allen Bowman of Newark, OH, October 27, 1953 – March 4, 2019

Dale Allen “Dale Bert” Bowman, age 65, formerly of Granville, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center. Dale was born on October 27, 1953 to the late Virgil and Catharine (Stiff) Bowman in Newark, OH.

Dale graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Education. He then taught for Newark City Schools for over 35 years, continuing as a substitute teacher after his retirement. Dale was an avid OSU fan and in his free time, enjoyed fishing and playing with his ham radio. He was a member of the Glory Road Singers, and later became the director of Celebration, whom he sang with for 17 years. Dale’s “Bowman Jokes” will be sorely missed.

Dale is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Edith (Hayes) Bowman. He also leaves behind daughters, Laura (Lyle) Muir and Courtney (Brian) Merce; grandchildren, Matthew, Paul, Luke, and Adam; brother, Ron Bowman; nieces and nephews, Alyssa and Krista Bowman, Cheryl, Beth, Scott, Renee, Darren, and Gwynne; sisters-in-law, Jean Holman and Shirley Dunway; and his beloved dog, Lexie.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Mildred and Glenn Davis.

A funeral service will take place at 11am on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Brucker Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, OH, 43055. Family will greet friends from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the funeral home. Services will be officiated by Pastor Darren Hayes.

Bradford K. Fairall of Newark, Ohio, October 8, 1958 – March 4, 2019

     A Celebration of Life service for Bradford K. Fairall, 60, of Newark, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

     Bradford passed away March 4, 2019, at Licking Memorial Hospital.  He was born October 8, 1958, in Columbia Station, Ohio, to the late Arthur Fairall and Rosemary (Gianvito) Casey.

     Bradford treasured his son, Bradford Fairall II.  He was a knife maker by trade. He shared his artistic ability through his knife making and carving skills.
     Bradford is survived by his son, Bradford K. Fairall, II; ex-wife, Barbara Fairall, her two children Elizabeth Fairall and Thomas Hullman; sister, Pamela (David) Morris; nieces, Rosanne Paloney, Jamie Paloney and Kristen Morris; nephews David Paloney and Greg Morris, and many great nieces and nephews.
     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Sheree T. Fairall and Geri Lynne (John) Burroughs.
